Cane I Get An Amen?! Bathroom Reveal

We feel like we can finally exhale because our work at the "Cane I Get An Amen" house is finished! We finished this gorgeous bathroom literally days before lockdown began so as you can imagine, we have been dying to share the FINAL result with you. Luckily, we have the best client ever who was unbelievably patient and accommodating. Even COVID can't stop us from turning out beautiful spaces for our clients! We are so happy with how this space turned out and are excited to finally get to share it with you all.

When we first toured the area we were going to be working on, it looked drastically different as you can imagine. There was a double sink was where this gorgeous custom dresser now rest, the wallpaper was outdated and the flow just didn't make the best use of space. This family of 6 is bright and lively and they needed as space that reflected that! We removed the sink and replaced it in the actual bathroom ( no more 1980 jacuzzi tub). Replacing the vanity area with additional storage instantly turned this half bath half closet situation into a well organized walk in closet space. For those of you who will be asking the paint color is Benjamin Moore November Skies. We finished off the space with sleek wall sconces to add even more brightness, and finished it off with campaign dresser pulls.

Once you enter the actual bathroom, you're surround by a white, bright, timeless and clean space. Exactly what our client wanted! Where the jacuzzi tub once was, is now a gorgeous semi-custom vanity. Pro tip: To save on cost we took a basic yet beautiful vanity from Wayfair and had our carpenter build custom towers on each end to fill the entire space. We chose polished chrome hardware to keep it clean for a classic look and made sure there was PLENTY of useable storage space for all our clients toiletries and bathroom necessities.

We wanted to create a light and bright look without adding any harsh light, so we went for this monochromatic lighting fixture that adds texture and whimsy to the otherwise casual space! We opted for a runner instead of separate bath mats under the sink to add our signature pop of color. Light blue linen romans shades pulled in just a touch of texture and much needed privacy. Next to the shower we placed an oversized woven basket for extra towels that are easily accessible from the shower stall. Storage can be both beautiful and practical.

AND NOW FOR THE BEST PART!!!! Yes, we saved this for last because it is a show stopper. Can we talk about that custom mosaic shower niche?! Our client wanted a sleek all white marble bathroom. Clean, classic, timeless with a touch of whimsy. We love it when a client really trust our vision. We felt like there needed to be a little bit of something special thrown in there to keep all the white tiles from looking too flat. With a floor to ceiling Thassos tile and hexagon light grey penny tile for the floor, we pulled in both colors for the most darling shower niche we ever did see. We wanted our client to have optimal storage space for their products, so we included two niches with this AMAZING custom daisy design and we are OBSESSED! This mosaic came all the way from Italy days before COVID shut everything down! Talk about meant to be.Our clients could not have been more lovely to work with. We are so sad to see them relocate to Texas but so incredibly happy we had the chance to help make their house feel like their best version of home! We will miss you Rose's!
