Interior Trends To Try In Your Home For 2021

Happy New Year!!! We have officially made it to 2021 and that is something we can all agree deserves to be celebrated. What are your New Year's resolutions? Maybe drink more water everyday? Possibly get ripped abs? Those are on our list (same as every year) but we are also making it a goal to make some major headway on our Kind-Of-Coastal-Cape-Cod. If you're like us, and want to make some interior home improvements in the new year or are just looking for some inspo, check out some of the trends we're most excited about playing with in 2021!

Comfort Is Key
Home has always been our happy place, but this year even more so! The way people live in and view their homes has no doubt shifted. Our homes have becomes an important part of our self care and mental health. This year has us craving the cozy and comfort more than ever before. So be on the look out for "hugging furniture"; think plush sofas, arm chairs you can sink into, and ultra cozy bedding.

Milky Hues
Call us trend setters because we've been all about this color scheme for a while now! Expect to see some revamped kitchen cabinets in this creamy off white color all throughout 2021.

Cane I Get An Amen
Cane details are here to stay in 2021! We love using natural elements in our clients homes as well as the Kind-Of-Coastal-Cape-Cod. Cane and natural fibers are a great accent to any space.

Wood You Believe It
Pretty wild that wood tones can be "trendy" but here we are? Remember when washed grey-ish wood was all the rage? Well in 2021 it's all about the light/unstained look.

Texture, Texture, And More Texture
And when in doubt, add more texture. This year more than ever, we are craving all the cozy vibes in and around our home. And a great way to achieve that is to play with layers and textures! Think nubby textures like linen, boucle, and wool. Also how many more times can we say texture?

Minimal Mindset
Remember at the beginning of the pandemic when everyone was going all "Marie Kondo" on their homes?? Yea us too... Well bring that mindset right along into 2021 and expect to see lots of minimal, neutral and clean designs.
