New Year, New Office

Happy New Year everyone! It's an inevitable reaction to the change of year, that you reflect on what needs to be worked on and create goals to be your best self rolling into the new year and in this case, new decade! One of our biggest goals as a business, is to focus on the design and build our office. We have rounded up the top inspiration picures, talked to local carpenters, swatched all the paint colors, and we are about ready to pull the trigger. But before we do, we want to give you guys a little glimpse into the look we are going for in the Valerie Wheeler Interiors office space.

Lighting is key! A well lit space is proven to increase productivity. While we love a room with natural light, we love using statement lighting in our designs (Read our Favorite Lighting Round up HERE.) So be on the look out for some fun lighting fixtures in our office space.

We love to play with unexpected textures in our clients homes, so this office will be no exception! We plan on incorporating lots of natural elements like leafy greens and unfinished wood to the office. Plus we are big believers that every room room in your home should have life.

You know we couldn't build our dream office without some room for #shelfies!! Not only do we need the storage space for samples and supplies, it allows us to do one of our favorite tasks as a designer... style the shelves.

Milky hues and subtle blues are our go-to paint colors. If you don't believe us just check out our Instagram feed. We are workin hard on our go to paint color guide for 2020 so be sure to check back if you are in need of some paint inspiration. Not to brag or anything, but we've got the whole paint color selection down to a science! Have you guys heard about our paint consultation services?
We've got a lot in store for 2020 and the office is just a small part of that. We're excited to switch things up this year and take you guys along as our business grows. What are some of your goals for the new year? Let us know in the comments below!
