Gardening Updates at the Kind Of Coastal Cape Cod

While our dream home at the Kind Of Coastal Cape Cod is a work in progress, we kind of think we have this whole curb appeal thing down! We have been working tirelessly to freshen up our landscaping and we thought we'd give you the run down on what we've done thus far.

We have beds that basically wrap around the entire house so it was extremely important to make the yard feel full and lush. We have two magnolia trees flanking the front of the house to add height and provide a deeper shade of green. Along the front of the house we added various sizes of boxwood hedges to add to that english garden look we love! Behind the bushes, we had to add some of our favorites, Hydrangeas!! We added these this past season so they're still in the process of bushing out and filling the space. We went with a new variation of Hydrangea called "Incrediball". The petals are smaller than an average Hydrangea but the overall  blooms are the largest available! We picked our blooms up from our friends at Le Fleur Farms and Home, where we go for all of our gardening needs!

Picking the right hydrangeas for your home:

There are surprisingly tons of variations or Hydrangeas. Everything from Mophead to Lacecap, there is a Hydrangea for everyone!
