How We're Doing An At Home Date Night For Valentines Day

Remember a year ago when you had to book a reservation at your favorite restaurant a month in advance in order to get a table where you're sitting shoulder to shoulder with an absolute stranger??? Ahhh the good ole days.... Anyways Valentines Day is right around the corner. And this year, to make Valentines Day: COVID Edition extra special, we're going all out with an at-home date night. Read along for some inspo for how you can show your special someone just how much you love them on February 14th!

Keep it simple. In a sea of hot pinks and reds, some toned down colors are a warm welcome for Valentines Day. Dress your table with some linen napkins and your favorite dishes. Don't forget the candle sticks! Also, as a sweet personalized touch, add your favorite picture with your loved one to the table scape.

Flowers are always a must but especially on Valentines Day! Ditch the basic roses and opt for something more unique like we did here. If you're in the Severna Park/Annapolis area, check out Peaceful Petals! You can either create your perfect bouquet yourself or the wonderful staff can guide you.

Now let's talk food. We recently made this chocolate peanut butter pie for a birthday dinner and knew we needed to share this goodness with ya'll. And what better time than candy day aka Valentines Day! It is sooooo easy to make (and this is coming from someone who hates to bake) and is basically a giant chocolate peanut butter cup. You can check out the recipe HERE but pro tip, sift the powdered sugar so you can avoid lumps in your peanut butter filling!

We hope you spend your Valentines Day showering your loves ones in love (and candy, don't forget the candy)!!!
