~Be sure to place your mums in a location where it will get direct sunlight! In order for your mums to be happy and healthy, they'll need at least 4 hours a day of direct sun exposure.

~Mums blooms HATE getting wet. The quickest way to kill your mums is be blasting them with the hose. You'll want to gently water the soil and make sure it is constantly moist!

~Deadheading your blooms is also essential for long lasting mums. To deadhead, you simple pick off the dead or dying blooms. When any plant has a dead or dying area, it'll naturally try to repair itself and put a lot of its energy into healing that area. But what ends up happening, it that the entire plant will die sooner than it needed to. So plucking off the dead blooms as soon as possible will keep your mums arounds for longer!

Overall, mums are incredibly easy to care for, but these tips will help insure that your beautiful fall foliage sticks around all season long!
