A Fresh Start

I'm sure your Instagram is just exploding with New Years resolutions, diet plans and Best of 2018 squares. So indulge me for a minute while I reflect on all the big moments we experienced here at VW Interiors. It's often times easy to obsess over all of the goals we need to accomplish in the New Year. But what about all of the incredible things your accomplished ALREADY? If you really take the time to sit down and list out all of the things that you are proud of, I bet you would be a bit surprised by what you have achieved. I know I was! Here are some of our favorite memories 2018 brought us at Valerie Wheeler Interiors.

1. My Home on Style Me Pretty Living

   In the blogging world Style Me Pretty is the holy grail. It has been a dream of mine for years to be featured on their blog.  I'm still pinching myself over here that Abby Larson herself reached out to me this summer to share my home!

2. HightPoint Market

   Helloooooo Scott brothers. This was my first year attending High Point Market. I was in furniture heaven. But you know what I found even more exciting than all the merchandise? All of the incredible designers I bumped into. Meeting the Scott brothers was just the icing on the design cake. Yes, they really are that tall.

3. The Scout Guide

   I was invited to join an incredible publication called The Scout Guide. Have you heard of it? Its awesome. Dedicated to living beautifully, each chic guide features the best of small businesses in their city. I had the honor of being featured in The Scout Guide Baltimore Annapolis issue. I have met so many incredible business owners that quickly became a huge asset in growing my business. Never underestimate the power of a strong community helping you reach your goals.

4. Clients with Mad Style

   You know whats even better than making homes pretty for a living? Meeting the incredible people who live in them. 2018 was a busy year for us and I can not wait to share all of the finished spaces in the new year!

5. Our New Home #thekindofcoastalcapecodWe moved into the ultimate fixer upper this month. I could go on for hours about how much work we are going to put into this gem. But for now we are just happy we found her. If wallpaper and pink sinks had a baby this house would be it.
