March Madness and Life Lately
This month was a doozy. I can't believe its almost been a month since I blogged last. But I promise it has been for good reason! I have so many new projects in the works that I haven't shared much about. So heres a little round up of my latest designs to keep you up to speed!
- The Dollhouse is finally complete! If you have been following me for a while on IG, I have been talking about this project for some time now. The final touches are getting installed this week and will be photographed in April. Stay tuned for that post, in the meantime here is a cell phone sneak peek....
2. I'm still trying to think of a catchy hashtag for this project, but #Iwantthishouse is in full swing! My client is building a brand new home in Baltimore, MD and her style could not be more in line with VW Interiors. The built ins, shiplap, wall coverings and lighting fixtures will be installed next week so I will be sure to share a TON of sneak peeks of that house. Here a little teaser of my favorite room in the house. This tiny little powder room is going to be covered in Schumacher Queen of Spain wallpaper with my favorite gramercy sink! The textiles in this house are going to be insane!
3. This one is for all my farm house lovers. This stately home sits on a family farm and the architectural details literally make my jaw drop. I'm taking on the dining room and foyer that connect with a double sided fireplace. We are going super monochromatic with the design, but with elegant touches that are perfectly in line with my client's style. Think Joanna Gaines meets Restoration Hardware. The existing space is the perfect blank canvas!! See some before images of that space below!
4. My husband and I always joke that we should have our own TV show that not only takes on the interior design but the garden design as well. He grows flowers for a living and totally has a TV face... I'm constantly bugging him to come up with some top secret grower tips for the blog and he finally agreed! So keep a look out for some Spring gardening tips coming to the blog next month. The man grows the most beautiful flowers.
