Welcome Home

I'm so excited to share with you the launch of Valerie Wheeler Interiors! For those of you who followed my previous blog...Olde Town Style, thanks so much for sticking with me through all the changes. And for those of you who are brand new to the blog...welcome!! I wanted to share a little recap on how Valerie Wheeler Interiors came to be. During my years as a SAHM my love for interior design really manifested into a full blown obsession. So much so that I decided to go back to school when I was pregnant with my third child to become an interior designer...

Now I'm sure you heard it all before Mom gets pregnant, Mom creates a beautiful nursery, Mom stays at home and is driven mad when she realizes that her baby never even sleeps in that beautiful nursery, and the rest of the house is a hot mess. Thats when Olde Town Style was born, it was my creative outlet and most importantly the kick in the butt I needed to start something for myself... Now that I have graduated design school I am closing that crazy, beautiful chapter of my life. I am so eager to start a new one, as interior designer, a tastemaker, and a mother...

Why the whole Mom spiel? Because I want my clients to know that I am not just creating pin-worthy homes (although I do hope you pin away like crazy) I am creating homes that families can grow up in. You can have your cake and eat it too. Your home can be both stylish and functional for your lifestyle. You just have to figure out how to make your home work for you!
