Looking for a little special something for your loved one this year? I for one like gifting something personalized and sentimental rather than just buying what is expected of the holiday at hand. But we often get so sidetracked by life that I put off gift buying until the last minute which makes it even harder to find that special gift. Now let me give you little background on why it is so hard to find that special something for my husband. The man likes to play in the dirt. He is rough around the edges and easy on the eyes. Since he usually only gets dressed up on the weekends when we go out, I knew I wanted to get him something that was slightly rustic and true to his style. I selected the Hyde walnut and black watch and added a personal engraving on the back face of the watch for a an extra special touch. The engraving is simple and sweet including the first initial of our names. I gave Tom the watch as an early gift this year and he loved it! Since life is a bit hectic running two businesses and raising three kids we decided to skip the night out and just enjoy a special brunch at home while the kids were at school. I'm so glad you made it all the way through the tour. I'm sure your mind is just flooded with all of the Valentines Day inspiration these awesome ladies have put together this year! Valentines Day can be so overwhelming sometimes, trying to pick the perfect gift, the perfect dress and of course the perfect spot for date night. Since my hubby and I NEVER get any alone time without the kids, I wanted to set up something special at home for just the two of us while the kids were at school. I went all out setting a fancy table, and buying our favorite treats. Of course the kids were feeling a little left out, so I promised them first dibs to this DIY Donut hole tower that I put together for the occasion. Now if you've been here before you know how much I love pink. I mixed in my favorite blush glassware with a little bit of gold and ranunculus to create this table scape. It really helped set the romantic mood. Without further ado, here is my sweet little Valentines Day Brunch for Two.
