Spring has officially sprung and if you need us, we'll be in our garden! But not all of us are lucky enough to have the space for a lush garden. Maybe your yard is too woodsy, or hilly, or you don't have the space or you may just be indoorsy! But not to worry, we have some tips for how you can still enjoy your home grown herbs and produce without stepping foot into the great outdoors. Keep in mind, you wont be able to grow your own watermelons and pumpkins, we're talking little berries, cherry tomatoes and herbs. Y'all we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Springtime is quickly approaching and that means we get to do what we do best, GARDEN!!! We are so excited to get outside into our gardens to harvest all the fruits, veggies and flowers you can imagine. If the pandemic has shown us anything, it's that we are so grateful for our home and time spent outdoors in our gardens. Last year, everyone was gardening up a storm, partially because it's one of the only things we can do right now but also because gardening is equally fun and rewarding! We feel like we can finally exhale because our work at the "Cane I Get An Amen" house is finished! We finished this gorgeous bathroom literally days before lockdown began so as you can imagine, we have been dying to share the FINAL result with you. Luckily, we have the best client ever who was unbelievably patient and accommodating. Even COVID can't stop us from turning out beautiful spaces for our clients! We are so happy with how this space turned out and are excited to finally get to share it with you all.

We did it! We got the heck out of town for a much needed change of scenery. We took the whole family to beautiful Downtown Charleston for some sun, beach, gardens and all around a good time. This was our first time hitting this picturesque southern city and we will for sure be going back sans kids so we can experiences all the night life this Holy City has to offer. But while we were there, we did get to experience some beautiful scenery, sandy coastlines, yummy food and of course great shopping.Here are our must see spots in Downtown Charleston!

Before COVID, we were cranking out client installations left and right. But now that the world has slowed down, that goes for the design world as well. If any of you have tried ordering furniture in the last year or so, you'd know that it takes about a year or so to actually ship out. Same goes for us designers. Thankfully for us, our clients are the best and understand the hold up is out of our hands and that once products are available to us, we will give them the home of their dreams. But in the meantime, we just have to drool over our mood boards. If you were to check out our saved tab on Instagram, you'd see a slew of amazing bunk bed designs that any kid or kid at heart would be jealous of. Bunk beds are a great space-saving solution in any home, and are perfect for hosting overnight guests and friends. Bunk beds used to be associated with a "kids room" that would be swiftly dismantled for the installation of a "big boy or girl room". But recently, designers have been changing the way we see bunk beds and (if done right) their timelessness. Check out our favorite designs that'll have you screaming "I CALL TOP BUNK"!!

It's no secret that designers are constantly inspiring peers with their work and designs. One of our all-time favorite designers are the geniuses behind Studio McGee and McGee and Co. In case you have not heard of them, Studio McGee was founded by a husband and wife team, Shea and Syd McGee. They worked their tails off and grew to the point where they have a massive design team, clients all across the country, their own retail stores, a series on Netflix, and now an ongoing collection at our second home, Target. Their Spring collection dropped earlier this week, and while lots of items are sold out already online, they're still trickling into stores as we speak. We've also heard that some items will be restocked online. We're sharing what we're loving, and will hopefully be adding to our shopping carts from the newest collection!

For any of y'all out there who have experienced home renovations while continuing to live in said home, you know that it can feel like the never ending project. You don't want to do too much at once because then living your everyday life in your home is close to impossible with all the noise, dust, and distractions. And now that we are not only living in our homes non-stop, but also working full time at home, home renovations get even more tricky. But we have made it a serious goal in 2021 to forge ahead with our home renovations and make the Kind-Of-Coastal-Cape-Cod our dream home! We asked you guys on Instagram about what you want to see from us in the new year, and we got an overwhelming desire for our home updates. So we are giving you guys an inside look into our OWN home mood board images and what we have in store for our home in 2021!

We're still riding that productive wave that a new year brings. We'll fall off soon enough don't worry. But with the new year comes the desire to start fresh!
